First AirBnb experience and Joseph made it affordable, comfortable and Joseph had great communication! 10/10 if you’re looking for somewhere to stay in Pekin!

After spending 4 of 5 nights, while vacuuming we found black mold on the living room wall and growing on the back of the couch. We notified the host and told him we had to leave as I had my elderly father with me and 3 young grandchildren. Neither he nor Airbnb would give me a straight answer and his “team” seems to be useless in making things right with us. Not even offering a partial refund for the night we were unable to stay due to the black mold. He turned a joyful Christmas week into a lot of stress and health problems and increased needlessly by the non-responsiveness and non-willingness to do the right thing. In addition, the oven was very dirty - with burnt food on the bottom, and the oven would not heat properly keeping us from baking our Christmas meal as we had planned. The dishwasher was also dirty. The stopper in the sink of the hallway bathroom was stuck closed and we had to pry it open to drain water. Extreme disappointment with Airbnb and this host.
